Alyssa Lie is a multi-talented artist born and raised in Singapore.
She graduated with a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre from LASALLE College of the Arts under the leadership of renowned Australian theatre director Tony Knight (NIDA) as well as Budi Miller (VCA), Nikki Snelson (Broadway), Andrew Davidson (GSA) and Bronwyn Gibson.
As a singer, she won 1st Place in Singapore’s Got Talent (2020) and was a Finalist in the Chinese singing competition 华谊 Icon Search 新星盛典 (2018). Alyssa has performed at the Esplanade for Red Dot August (2018), Soundtracks (2018), Voices (2018), Songs We Grew Up With (2019). She also performed regularly at well-known live music venues such as the W Singapore, Wala Wala Cafe Bar, Le Noir, Escobar, Paulaner Bräuhaus, and The British Club. She has also emceed and performed at weddings and corporate events at international venues such as Resorts World Sentosa.
Her theatre credits include The Gingerbread Man (2019), Chicken Little (2017) and Forbidden City: Portrait of an Empress (2017) with SRT, Detention Katong (2017) with Dream Academy, and Fatimah and her Magic Socks (2017) with Esplanade’s PLAYtime! She has starred in the Mediacorp original drama Mind Jumper (2020), Kin (2018-2019), Listening In (2017), and the web-series Tanglin (2017). She has also appeared in numerous short films and modeled for commercials and print advertisements.
In 2019, she was the show host of CBeebies and Friends Live! at Resorts World Genting. In 2016, she performed with Hi-5 Live! as the puppeteer and voice of Chatterbox (Chats) for their live shows in Singapore and Jakarta, where she was the only non-Australian member of the cast.
Apart from performing, Alyssa also enjoys reading, writing, and creating social media content. She hopes to inspire others to chase their dreams!
