Alyssa Lie is a singer-songwriter, actress, model, host and voiceover artist born and raised in Singapore.
She graduated with a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre from LASALLE College of the Arts under the leadership of renowned Australian theatre director Tony Knight (NIDA) as well as Budi Miller (VCA), Nikki Snelson (Broadway), Andrew Davidson (GSA) and Bronwyn Gibson.
As a singer and vocalist, she won 1st Place in Singapore’s Got Talent (2020) and was a Finalist in the Chinese singing competition 华谊 Icon Search 新星盛典 (2018).
As an artist, she has performed at the Esplanade Concourse as well as the Esplanade Forecourt Garden for Red Dot August (2018), Soundtracks (2018), Voices (2018) and Songs We Grew Up With (2019). She also performed as the lead singer at well-known live music venues in Singapore such as the W Singapore, Wala Wala Cafe Bar, Le Noir, Escobar, Paulaner Bräuhaus and The British Club. She is also a bilingual wedding and event singer and emcee with The Wedding Serenata.
Her theatre credits include The Gingerbread Man (2019), Chicken Little (2017) and Forbidden City: Portrait of an Empress (2017) with Singapore Repertory Theatre, Detention Katong (2017) with Dream Academy, Fatimah and her Magic Socks (2017) with Esplanade’s PLAYtime!, If We Dream Too Long (2016) with ANDSOFORTH and Family (2016) with The Second Breakfast Company.
On television, she played Charlene in the Mediacorp original drama Kin (2018-2019), Elizabeth in Listening In (2017) and Young Li Ting in the web-series of Tanglin (2017).
She has also worked with Resorts World Sentosa, Alikhan Live Entertainment and Millennium Entertainment International both locally and regionally. In 2019, she was the show host of CBeebies and Friends Live! at Resorts World Genting, and in 2016, she performed with Hi-5 Live! as the puppeteer and voice of Chatterbox (Chats) for their live shows in Singapore and Jakarta, where she was the only non-Australian member of the cast.
Apart from performing, Alyssa also enjoys reading, writing, travelling and creating online content. She hopes to inspire others to chase their dreams!
