Alyssa Lie is a singer-songwriter and actress born and raised in Singapore.
Her love for performing led her to pursue a degree in Musical Theatre at LASALLE College of the Arts under the tutelage of renowned Australian theatre director, Tony Knight (NIDA).
As a singer, she won 1st Place in Singapore's Got Talent (Open) and was a Finalist in the Chinese singing competition 华谊 Icon Search 新星盛典.
She has also performed at the Esplanade concourse for Red Dot August, Soundtracks, and Voices, and was a resident artist at W Singapore, Wala Wala, and Le Noir at MBS.
Her bubbly and effervescent personality landed her roles in theatre productions such as Chicken Little (SRT), Fatimah and Her Magic Socks (PLAYtjme!), and The Gingerbread Man (SRT), Detention Katong (Dream Academy), and Forbidden City: Portrait of an Empress (SRT).
On television, she has starred in Mind Jumper (Channel 8), Kin (Channel 5), Tanglin (meWATCH) and has been featured in commercials for HSBC Premier, the Health Promotion Board, the Singapore Tourism Board, and more.
She was also the puppeteer and voice of Chats from the Australian TV series, Hi-5, for their mall shows in Singapore and Jakarta.
She has recently released her third single “Mend” and is now preparing for her Live Concert at the Esplanade on 13 May 2021.
