party rock anthem

daily reflections

March 16, 2020

Moving on from something so precious has been tough, really tough. I don't know if it will get any easier, but I'm focusing on myself for now. I'm finding a lot of joy from performing, creating and collaborating. I've already collaborated with multiple photographers shooting at interesting locations in Singapore, I've recorded an MV for "Dance Monkey" (which will be out soon), I'm working with friends for the marketing and promo. of my first single "Half-Asleep" which will be released on all DSPs mid-June, and I'm going to be filming an MV for "Half-Asleep" in the next few weeks. On top of that, I've been going for castings, participating in singing/talent competitions and I recently signed with a modelling agency here in Singapore. Right now I'm casting my net wide to see what fish it will catch... I still want to sign with an acting/talent agency here in Singapore, so that's going to be my next step while all of these are underway. It's a lot of projects, but I'm keeping myself as busy - and my soul as fulfilled - as possible. Last year we sang a beautifully tragic love song; maybe this year I'll be singing a party rock anthem.

Here are some quotes I really relate to:

I carry your heart with me (I carry it in my heart). || E.E. Cummings

Distance is not for the fearful, it’s for the bold. It’s for those who are willing to spend a lot of time alone in exchange for a little time with the one they love. It’s for those who know a good thing when they see it, even if they don’t see it nearly enough. || Meghan Daum

Love knows not distance; it hath no continent; its eyes are for the stars. || Gilbert Parker

More updates coming soon!

Lots of love,
